What Mura Studio Is

The Name
The studio trades as Mura Studio. Use that everywhere a person will read it.

Mura Design Co
Invoices, contracts, licences and tax. It is the legal entity and nothing else.
Personality
Three words describe how the brand looks. Each one is a decision you can check.
Dark.
Black canvas, white type. Light surfaces are the exception.
Technical.
A pixel mark on a strict grid. Exact values you can copy.
Confident.
One hot accent. Motion that is quick and restrained. One strong claim beats three soft ones.
Who We Are For
Founders and small to mid sized businesses, mostly in Sydney and Australia, plus some international agencies.
- Fintech
- Trades
- Property
- SaaS
- Gyms

Logo
A sharp pixel M and the name in Geist Pixel. Use the supplied files and leave them as they are.
The Lockup, on Every Surface
The gap between mark and name is 0.27 of the mark height. The logo is built for dark surfaces. Switch to white and watch what happens.

Layout
The Mark
Every part of the M comes from one grid. Point at a part to see it.
- An 8 by 6 gridEvery edge lands on the grid. Nothing is drawn by eye.
- Cut shouldersThe top outer corners are cut on a diagonal. They are the only angles in the mark.
- Six bandsHorizontal bands run from #FAFAFA at the top to #EF4924 at the bottom.
- The brand orangeThe lowest band is the accent colour. The mark ends where the brand begins.
- Hard edgesThe bands never blend. Keep it crisp at every size.
Clear Space and Minimum Size
The clear space on every side is x, two cells of the grid. Nothing enters it. Below the minimum size the name stops reading, so use the mark alone.
Lockup, 110 px wide
Mark, 16 px wide
Try to Break the Logo
Each switch changes the logo in one way that breaks it. Turn a few on and watch it fall apart, then put it back.
The Build
In film, the mark assembles itself cell by cell, then the name fades up. It is an opening, not a replacement for the lockup.

Avatar and Favicon
On a square, the mark sits alone on #0A0A0B. The name already sits beside the avatar on every profile. An 8 by 6 grid stays crisp even at 16 px.

Colour
Black carries almost everything. White is the second surface. One hot orange does the rest.
The Palette
Select any colour to copy its hex.
The Greys
On black, use white for headings, Gray 40 for body and Gray 50 for captions. On light, use black for headings, Gray 60 for body and Gray 50 for captions.
Pairs That Read
Colour on colour has to read before it can look good. Pick a text colour and a surface. Body text needs 4.5 to 1. Big type needs 3 to 1.

The Accent
Brand orange is the one accent. It fills the main button and marks the thing that matters. Never use it for large surfaces.
Not as a page background.
Logo Bands
These six colours belong to the mark. They are not interface colours.
The Heading Gradient
Big headings on black fade from white to grey, with the grey rising about 35% of the way up. Text on light stays solid black.

Voice
A working designer talking to another person. Talk about their problem before the product.
Our Voice in One Line
Three words hold the whole voice. If a sentence breaks one, rewrite it.
Confident, Warm, Direct.
Confident.
Never apologetic. One strong claim beats three soft ones.

Written to one person. Always you, never everyone.
Direct.
Short sentences. Say the number or the thing.

Words We Cut
If one of these sneaks into a draft, replace it with a plain word.
- leverage
- utilise
- unlock
- elevate
- seamless
- robust
- journey
- curated
- transform your
- take it to the next level
Punctuation
Keep it plain. Rewrite the sentence, or use a comma or a full stop.
No dashes
No em dashes, no en dashes, and no hyphens joining words.
No semicolons
Split the thought into two sentences.
Short sentences
About 20 words at most. Paragraphs of one to three sentences.
Graphic Language
A few quiet elements on black. Use one per section and let it carry the moment.
The Elements
All three come from the logo and the way the brand is lit.
Imagery
The work is the imagery. Show real projects, in real use, on dark.
The Work
Full brand systems, shown together. Mockups carry the real logo, colour and type.

The Founder
Mura Studio is led by a person, so Jeremy shows up on the about page and in calls. Plain wall, soft light, looking at you.

Motion
Quick and restrained. Things arrive, then they stay still.
The Logo Build
Every film can open the same way. Press play as often as you like.
The Entrance
Content rises 24 px and fades in over 0.55 seconds. Items in a grid follow each other by 0.06 to 0.08 seconds.
cubic-bezier(0.44, 0, 0.13, 0.96)
Applications
The same few things everywhere: a short headline, the lockup and the site, on black, with the ember low in the frame.
Profile Banners
Live on LinkedIn and YouTube. The headline says what the studio is. The work sits beside it.

Featured Cards
One idea, one button. Centred, with the ember below.

Email Signature
Email backgrounds are white, so the logos sit on one black bar.

Downloads
The logo files and the essentials. Use them as they are, with no redrawing, recolouring or effects.
Social
Pure black, one line and one accent at most. It is where most people meet the brand first.
Make a Post
Write a line and pick a format. The frame follows the rules as you go: mark top left, site in the corners, 40 px margins.
jeremymura.comjeremymura.com2026Format
The Rules
The same few rules on every channel.
Three places at once
Meta posts go to the Facebook Page, Instagram and Threads together. Captions stay under 500 characters.
Ten slides at most
Carousels are 1080 x 1350, and never run past 10 slides.
No orange on slides
Orange appears once, on a single call to action slide. No drop shadows.
Thumbnails carry no face
Icons, objects and 3D instead. Every video gets 3 titles and 3 thumbnails to test.

Only ever link jeremymura.com. The studio page is jeremymura.com/studio.
